How are the two equations the same-By Asham

Hi guys. This is the homework we got I think we had to explain how (4÷4) + (4÷4) and 4/4 + 4/4 were the same (sorry I don't know how to make the fractions symbol, so yeah..), now to the feature presentation!

First of all, these equations are the same because, they are both division. Fractions are division, e.g

2 ÷ 2= 1 WHOLE PIZZA (I'm using pizza as an example)

2/2 slices of pizza equal the whole pizza, since there is only 2 slices! Well in a whole pizza they're would be more than 2 slices, but you get the idea.

So in conclusion they are the same, because they are both division, and you can go either way, no matter what your answer will be the same!

Thanks for reading, I hope you liked the colors!

Sincerely,
Asham

  1. GOOD JOB ASHAM!

I really like how you explained things!

As for the colours, don't get me wrong, I really like them! However, as Mr. Harbeck said, we should only use them when necessary to make important words or phrases stand out. Please take this as constructive critisism.

    Good job again!
