Stephanie's Coin Math

heeeeeeey happy thanksgiving guuuuys :)

For homework we had to pick two questions:

What is the most common coin in the jar?
- From what I see, pennies.

How full is the jar?
- The jar is 75% or 3/4 full. I say that its 75% full because you can tell that it isn't full all the way to the top.

I know its not much, but its all I've got so far.

PART TWO !

heeeeeeey guuuuuuys (:

So today during math class Mr. Harbeck told us to edit our posts. But first we talked about the US coins then we talked about the Canadian coins.

How full is the Canadian jar?
- The Canadian jar is 75% full, or 1/4. I say that because the US jar is 3/4 or 75%.

How long would it take to fill the jar if you put one coin in each day? starting on January 1,2010
- If you put pennies it would take you 227 years. Then you will finish in April 28,2037

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT ! :D
