Ratio Homework Scribe

Question 15:
a)Write a ratio in lowest terms to
compare the amounts of the three
cheeses. State the order of the cheeses.

b)What amounts of Romano and cottage
cheese do you need to make lasagna that
contains 900 g of mozzarella cheese?
Hint: Use equivalent ratios to help you.

Answers:
a)100 : 300 : 250 = 2 : 6 : 5 = Romano : Mozzarella : Cottage Cheese
I got my answer by diving each number by 50.
100 ÷ 50 = 2
300 ÷ 50 = 6
250 ÷ 50 = 5

b)You need 300g of Romano and 750g of Cottage Cheese because
since there is 900 Mozzarella cheese you had to times 300 by 3, so
I just times the Romano and Cottage cheese by 3 .
