Three term ratio- compares three quantities measured in the same units

• written as a:b:c / a to b to c

Part-to-Part ratio- compares different parts of a group to each other

• 10:8 is the part to part ratio of brown to red beads

Part-to-Whole ratio - compares one part of a group 5:23 is the part to whole ratio blue to
total number of beads.
