Nadine's scribepost, Coin Math Oct. 12, 2009

hi everyone.. Happy thanksgiving day!
Mr. H gave us a homework about the questions that we made about the jar.
He said to pick 2 questions. and answer it.

How full is the jar?
- Its atleast 75 % full , Imagine the jar is a rectangle.. divide it into 4 parts and shade 3 parts. that's what i did. but i think is more than 75 %.

Will the jar look the same if the jar was Canadian
- I think the jar would not look the same because in the U.S. there's no loonies and toonies.
but a dollar in canada probably cost 98 0r 97 cents in the U.S. so if you compare it to the American jar and the Canadian jar. the american jar will look fuller than the canadian jar.

part2
Today we discussed how we can solve the coin problem so here are the solutions that we came up with
THANKS FOR READING MY POST!
