Not much is difference but if you look on the division sign there are two dots on top of the line those two dots represent the two fours. so by writing 4-:-4 your simply representing 4/4 a different way.
This is a place for the community of learners in Room 8-16 to learn and enjoy math. It is an extension of the classroom making it accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
