Jecelyn's Pay it Forward

What is Pay it Forward?

Part 1

To me Pay if Forward is like making a difference in the world. If one person can make a difference imagine what the world could be like. It would great.. Wait let me rephrase that. It will make a difference in the world. In the movie Trevor changed a lot of peoples lives. His mom's life, his teachers, a hobo and he also helped a friend. He got stabbed but from saving a friend. he risked his own life for someone else. It was amazing that a lot of people cared about Pay it Forward. They took time out of there lives to appreciate Travor and what he has done for the world. Pay it Forward is a great idea. you just help people and you will have that nice feeling inside you and you would probably help even more people and soon the world will be a better place.

Part 2

What was your Pay It Forward act of kindness?
Why did you choose this activity?

Who did you help?
What did you do?
When did you do you act of kindness?

Our act of kindness was 2 parts. We Donated clothes and toys to the Salvation Army and we made cards for the teachers to spread the joy. We choose the activity because we notice that we have a lot of things that other people didn't have and we thought that other people would appreciate these things. We helped people that didn't have the things that we have and we helped spread the joy in the school. We helped needy people that don't have the things that we have and we made cards for the teachers to help spread the joy through the school to make the community a better place to be in. We did our act of kindness in December 4 and we finished on December 7.

Part 3

How did your act of kindness go?
What Happened?
How did you feel?
How did the person or people react?
Did you ask the person or people to "Pay It Forward"?
How did they react to your request?
If you did not ask the person to "Pay It Forward" how come?

Our act of kindness went great. We got to help people and help make others day better by putting a smile on there face. When gave people cards they asked us to explain what was pay it forward. So we did. By saying if you help a person that person will help another person and so on and so on. They also asked us if they had to tell us if they did there good deed. We said no because we trusted them to do the deed because we know that if we spread the joy they would also want to. But we told them they can tell us if they wanted to. The good deeds that we did made me feel good. It's like I helped a lot of people by just doing a little things. It's the thought that matters. I know a lot of people won't take their time to help a soup kitchen or donate things or just make cards. But we did to help others who need things the most and put smiles on peoples faces. Just seeing those people smile made my heart feel warm. I haven't felt that in a long time but since I did Pay if Forward I know that I would still help others and make their day just to see them smile. The people who got our cards looked like they were happy to see kids making a difference in the school. The all had warm smiles that can just brighten someone's day. A lot of the teacher's thought Pay it Forward was a great idea and more people should do that more often. So I hope those people would Pay it Forward and make a difference. Yes we did ask the teacher's to Pay it Forward. So teacher's know that there is hope in the future that kids like us can make a difference in the world and soon it will be a better place for everyone. A lot of the teacher's reacted like they didn't know anything about it. So we explained it to them and when they got the message about it they said they would Pay it Forward.
