(Bruce), Jomari, Warren, Gordon Pay it Forward

Hey guys,

Mr Harbeck and Ms Lee asked us to create a project on the movie "Pay it Forward". They also told us to do some act of kindness and write about it on our blog.

Part 1

What is "Pay it Forward"?

"Pay it Forward" to me is, "Not thinking of yourself too much and thinking of the unfortunate people".

Part 2

What was your Pay It Forward act of kindness?
My Pay it Foward act of kindness was going out with some of my friends on a cold day and handing out cards to people, such as mail men and the people at Ashcroft. We also put cards in the people's mail box and their parked cars.

Why did you choose this activity?
We chose this act of kindness because we thought that some people didn't recieve any gifts or cards on Christmas. Thats why we chose to hand out cards.

Who did you help?
In our opinion we think that we helped lot's of people and that we made people know that Sargent Park School is a caring school.

What did you do?
We handed out cards to people

When did you do you act of kindness?
We did our act of kindness during the weekend and during the lunch hour on weekdays.

Part 3

How did your act of kindness go?

Our act of kindness went very well, everyone did their job and we handed out each and every card.

What Happened?
We went around the Sargent Park area and handed out cards to people, houses and parked cars.

How did you feel?

Even though we felt cold, our hearts kept us warm because it made us feel warm knowing that we were making someone feel like; someone cared about them.

How did the person or people react?
I think that the people think that Sargent Park students are caring and thoughtful kids.

Did you ask the person or people to "Pay It Forward"?
Im each card we included the words "Pay it Forward" in a sentence telling the person to go out and do something good for someone else.

How did they react to your request?
I think that people are gonna go out and donate or volunteer somewhere, and make others feel like someone cared about them.

If you did not ask the person to "Pay It Forward" how come?
We asked the person to Pay it forward in each and every card.

Part 4

Why is the idea of "Pay it Forward" important?
The idea of "Pay it Forward" is important because it makes "you think more of the unfortunate people who don't have what you have".

Has your act of kindness made a difference?
My act of kindness has made a differance because, it has made someone think that there are people who care about them and that their life isn't worthless.

For proof we did our project, just look at some of the pictures I posted.
