Surface Area Growing Post

Rectangular Prism:
Here's how to calculate the area of a rectangular prism,

Side 1
L x W = A 8 x 6 = A 46mm² = A
Side 2
L x W = A 6 x 12 = A 72mm² = A
Side 3
L x W = A 8 x 12 = A 96mm² = A

TSA= 12mm²+12mm²+72mm²+72mm²+96mm²+96mm² = 360mm²

Triangular Prism:

Here's how to calculate the area of a triangular prism,

B x H ÷ 2 = A

230 x 140 ÷ 2 = A

32200 ÷ 2 = A

16100m² = A

L x W = A
230 x 70 = A
16100m² = A

TSA = 16100m²+16100m²+16100m²+16100m² = 64400m²

Cylinder:

Here's how to calculate the area of a cylinder,
r = d÷2 r = 20 ÷ 2 r= 10m
a = ╥ x r x r

a = 3.14 x 10 x 10

a = 314m²

c = ╥d
c = 3.14 x 20
c = 62.8m²

a = L x W
a = 150 x 62.8
a = 9240m²

TSA = 9240m²+62.8m²+62.8m²= 9545.6m²
